Solution

DataQloo for Business Analysts

Build your own PostgreSQL-backed reports on a visual canvas — no SQL required, with the option to see the query underneath when you're curious.

The problem

Getting a specific cut of data — filtered, grouped, sorted a particular way — often means asking someone else to write a query, waiting, and then asking again when the requirements shift slightly.

How DataQloo helps

The Visual Designer lets you build that request yourself: connect to a dataset, drag on a Filter or Summarize node, and see results update directly in the results panel — table, schema, and a data profile, all without writing a query. If your data lives in a spreadsheet instead of a database, the Import Wizard brings a CSV or Excel file in the same way.

What this doesn't do yet

DataQloo's current node set (Filter, Summarize, Sort) covers straightforward slicing and aggregation. More advanced transforms — joins, pivots, formulas — are on the feature roadmap.

Frequently asked questions

No. The Visual Designer's Filter, Summarize, and Sort nodes are built to be configured without writing SQL. The generated SQL is visible if you want to see it, but it's never required.
